Bikes Fight Cancer Distributes $170,000 to Support Local Cancer Care

EASTHAMPTON, MA – NOVEMBER 18, 2025

Thanks to the incredible effort of more than 700 riders, volunteers, and supporters, the 2025 Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride raised over $260,000. And in just three years, the ride has contributed more than $550,000 to support cancer care and research.

This month, $170,000 is being distributed to local organizations providing essential cancer services. In addition, $58,000 was donated to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as part of the BFC team’s $140,000 contribution to the Pan-Mass Challenge.

WHERE THE FUNDS ARE GOING

The $170,000 in grants support four key partners:

Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute at Cooley Dickinson Hospital – $70,000 for the Cancer Patient Care Fund, which provides financial assistance for patients. “Team Cooley”, a group of hospital staff—also rode in the event, raising $16,000.

Cancer Connection – $45,000 to expand integrative therapies and outreach across all 64 Western Mass. towns it serves.

CHD’s Cancer House of Hope – $36,000 to continue offering free programs and services for individuals and families facing cancer.

Magic for Maddie – $20,000 to support DIPG research and families impacted by pediatric brain cancer.

Thank you for the support!
