2006: Our first PMC!
We cannot possibly thank you enough for helping our team raise over $11,000 for our first ever Pan-Mass Challenge! It was certainly one of the most incredible and inspirational events any of us has ever participated in. In total, the 2006 PMC had 4,600 riders, 2,537 volunteers, and collectively raised over $24 MILLION for cancer research through the Jimmy Fund. THANK YOU!
Our team left Sturbridge at 6:00 am on Saturday and by 11:30 am on Sunday, we were in Provincetown, MA! We’re not even sure how to describe those 192 miles — it was fantastic. The stories people shared and the messages riders wore on their backs was enough to inspire anyone at any point along the way.
Personally, we celebrated Jon’s 5th year out of treatment and we rode as hard as we could in memory of Johnny’s father.
